Task 11: Recommended tools for social media engagement

From my investigations and examinations I found that the two social media applications that would be most beneficial to the libraries would be Facebook and You Tube. I choose these two in particular because both Facebook and You Tube have greater mass appeal. Facebook connects people through its instant message sending, photo/video sharing features. It can also be used as a great publicity tool by sharing upcoming events among people.

You Tube on the other hand is great for sharing videos of past events. People can easily access them and it is also a great way of storing videos for future reference.
